I’m Periscoping!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you heard of Periscope?

Have you tried it out?

After watching friends and colleagues broadcasting I decided to give it a go. If you missed the live scope, it’s ok-the replay is available for 24 hours on the Periscope app or at http://Periscope.tv/bridgwaterk and on http://Katch.me/bridgwaterk. I also plan to upload them to the Bridgwater Crafts YouTube Channel. Watch for the title, My First Periscope! An Introduction with @bridgwaterk #bridgwatercrafts #creativebiz #yarnscope #chronicpain.

I hope to be back broadcasting a WIP Wednesday scope!

Thank you for watching! I’ll add the link or embed the video once I figure out all this technology!

Every periscope broadcast will be accompanied by a blog post of show notes with links to anything I talk about.

My business/life goals this week are to continue unpacking from my recent move, read Chapter One of Market Yourself by Tara Swiger and to scope at least once more this week!
I hope to be back broadcasting a WIP Wednesday scope!

Thank you for watching! & reading!

  1. Hi! I caught end of scope today, Nov 4th, I didn’t get a chance to comment. Loved the blanket you showed and wanted to ask, I couldn’t take my eyes off of it, the scarf you were wearing….what, who, where!?! The color and design from what I could see had me NEEDING to find out! The colorway so me, and it looked simple enough stitch wise my hands might just cooperate enough over time to make it! I don’t know if you are on Twitter, or I or Rav *tho as a designer I imagine you are* but when you mentioned YouTube being hidden until you could get things uploaded I wasn’t sure if you had a group up yet either. I am going to see if I can find you there and message you. I’m CjCreativeLife on Pericope, Twitter, I and AlwaysKnitU1 on Rav.
I do hope you are doing okay, going to search out book(s) you were referring to, it was hrd to hear where I was watching/listening.
Gorgeous work just wanted to let you know! 🙂 ♡

  2. Hi Cj,

Thank you for your kind comments and compliments.

The scarf is the Belle Epoque shawl by Kira Dulaney, http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/belle-epoque-shawl I crocheted it in the Maui colourway in Three Irish Girls Springvale Sock a few years ago. I modified the pattern by upping the hook size to 5 mm and skipping the lace border as I only had the one skein of the colourway. I’ve made several shawls and shawlettes of the pattern. Unfortunately, I didn’t record the info into Ravelry but made similiar modifications for the other one skein shawlettes I crocheted from the same pattern.

I am on Instagram, Ravelry and Twitter as bridgwaterk and do have a group on Rav called Bridgwater Crafts. The book I referred to C’Est Ma Vie! 2015 is a book I am writing this year; there is a version that also contains all my 2015 designs and another version on Ravelry will be for just the designs. It should be out in Feb. 2016 when I’ll be into the second month of the 2016 book in the series. You can find more info on the book in The Book page here.
